Meet the Cheeky Straight Jean
This piece features a high rise, low-stretch, relaxed fit with a zip fly, and relaxed, full length straight leg.Conventional denim production is dirty business and we’re on a mission to clean it up. Here's how we're doing it differently—and why that matters for you.
Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"I liked the look of the cut, but they ran small. I am hoping they stretch a bit with wear"
"They fit well from above, beautiful straight legs. Also color is great."
"I sized down as was recommended and still had enough room to comfortably fit my fist in the waistband. My measurements didn’t fit the “curvy fit” but according to the size chart these jeans should have fit perfectly. They also seem quite stretchy for 2% elastane. I have returned them."
"Comfortable everyday jeans. I love it."
"Fit was a little off. Waist was comfortable but the hip and thigh area extremely tight. I liked the length and color. I just wish it did not need so much “break in” time."
"I'm not sure I understand the race reviews. I wish I did. Perhaps because I'm long waisted they aren't for me. Nevertheless I've tried and returned several pair, they just don't fit well. Not worth the price and the wait to receive for an uncomfortable ill fitting jean."
"They don't give at all. I'm between sizes and went large in these, because I like an easy fit. That said, I love them!"
"I really like the Cheeky Straight Jean. The zipper is a nice alternative to buttons. The fit is just right if you are looking for an all purpose jean without barrel, skinny, wide or cropped legs. I like the lighter wash and would consider getting a darker rinse but I have so many jeans,"
"these jeans are comfy and easily dressed up or down depending on what you want. YOU are the driver in your life, make it what you want."
"I've been trying to replace my 5 year old Everlane cheeky jeans for a few months now. The quality of the current stuff in stock is *awful. * When I tried on the last couple, the first thought that came to my mind was: if someone handed me a pair without a tag, I'd think they were Joe Fresh. I've tried different sizes, different colours, different lengths. One pair came apart within a 6 weeks. The others I've simply sent back immediately. The quality across the board is astonishingly poor. The fabric feels so, so cheap. The sizes and lengths appear to be totally random. With the last few I tried, I actually laid them down on top of each other and, sure enough, the lengths on the "same" size were 1-2 inches different. And let's not get into the waist sizes. Everlane is 90% of my (albeit minimalist) wardrobe, and I'm not overjoyed about having to look elsewhere for my staples."
