Way too oversized, not flattering if you’re petite

"I thought this would be an easy summer top to throw over a tank in the summer and liked that it had a tie waist which I thought would define my waist and look good on my hourglass frame. Unfortunately the shirt is super boxy and oversized but not in a good way. I have the boxy oxford which is perfectly oversized and flattering. This shirt is not. At least not for me. It looks more like a dress but isn’t quite long enough to wear as one. And with all the fabric being so oversized it looks awkward when the waist is tied. The fabric is also weirdly structured and doesn’t drape like I thought it would. Bought as final sale so can’t return and have tried to pawn it off on a few friends who are taller, thinking it might work for them but so far I everyone has found it unflattering. It’s hard to picture a body type that could pull off this style of shirt."

Not right on me

"This is a very cool shirt in the usual great Everlane shirting fabric. I would have loved wearing it 10 years ago, buy it is jist not flattering on my middle-aged figure with waist definition vanishing like glacial ice."

Square shirt

"I figured out why the fit is so odd, like the other reviewers described. The body is oversized but the sleeves are not. The body is literally a giant square. The sleeves are itty bitty sticks like in a stick figure. I lolled when I put it on. Had read the other reviews and decided to take a chance anyway cuz I like oversized shirts, but this isn't really wholly oversized! How did this design get approved everlane?!!"

Too big

"It was mentioned that the shirt is oversized so I ordered a smaller size, and yet it was huge! Since the return policies outside the stats are extremely expensive and inconvenient there was nothing I could do about it."

Shirt investment

"I really nice shirt. Good fabric also. I had to go down one size, from X to XS because it was huge."

Capsule Wardrobe in One Shirt

"LOVE. LOVE. LOVE! this shirt! It's an updated, elevated version of the wardrobe essential white button up. Thanks to the shape-changing ties, many variations are possible beyond the standard shirt -- it can be worn like a light jacket over a tank or tee; and it's great as a stand alone jacket/tunic. There are so many variations on a classic theme, it's a capsule wardrobe all by itself. I'm 5'2"", curvy, and I generally wear a medium in Everlane tops. This shirt is oversized, so I ordered a small and it is still quite generously proportioned. My personal recommendation is to size down. Hope this is helpful!"
