Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"TLDR: sizing is inconsistent across different colors. I’ve had the same pair of Everlane jeans for five years and they’ve held up like none other. They’ve also managed to stretch with me as my body has grown over many seasons. These two things made me feel ready to invest in another pair of Everlanes jeans and after making a trip to try them on in-store, I was thrilled to find the perfect pair that even had some breathing room! A week later, when I was ready to order them online, the exact wash I had tried on wasn’t available, so I went with a darker wash and same size and style. When they arrived, the darker wash fit a full size smaller than the ones in-store. I returned them and am waiting for the exact wash I tried on in store to be in stock again."
"I have a pair of The Way-High® Curve Jean which fit perfectly so I ordered the same size in this style but the waist in this size is larger. I don’t know if it is a defect with the pair I ordered but the leg also bunches awkwardly at the top of the inseam."

"Great Jean! I’m 5’5 and 125 lbs and ordered a size 25. They definitely are more comfortable than the older way-high. My only complaint is that they are a tad short. I wish I had about an inch more of fabric on the legs for the winter months. But otherwise, I’m sure this length will look great with sandals in the summer."
