Why It's Better This style is made with 67% organic cotton and 33% recycled polyester, certified to the Organic Content Standard (OCS) and Recycled Claim Standard (RCS). Organic cotton uses crop rotation, cover crops, and organic fertilizers instead of toxic chemical fertilizers or pesticides—which means cleaner water, lower water usage, lower pesticide use, healthier soil, and a safer working environment for cotton farmers, compared to conventional cotton. The recycled polyester repurposes existing materials, diverting waste from landfills and lessening dependency on virgin fossil-fuel inputs.
