Taking our sought-after selvedge denim into a straight fit, The Selvedge Straight Fit Jean comes in with a wider leg and more relaxed fit at the waist and hips, plus, a longer rise and more room in the leg than the Slim. With a consistent width of denim flowing from thigh to ankle, these jeans have a vintage-inspired fit, with a thoroughly modern mood. This unique denim for our Selvedge Straight Fit Jean is woven and dyed at the Candiani Mill in Ticino Park, Italy. They weave our organic cotton on shuttle looms to create this refined, long-lasting 12.5 oz denim, with 2% stretch for broken-in comfort from day one.

Using organic cotton means cleaner and lower water usage, lower pesticide use, healthier soil, and a safer working environment for cotton farmers, compared to conventional cotton production. We utilize Textile Exchange's Organic Content Standard (OCS) and other leading industry organic manufacturing standards to certify applicable products from farm to finished garment.

Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.
