Missed opportunity
"This is a potentially great pair of pants ruined by two head-scratching design decisions. 1) No belt loops! I have to echo another reviewer in asking, what occasion or environment are these pants for? The material and the crease down the front say ""office/dressy"" but the lack of belt loops makes it literally impossible to dress these pants up with a button-down shirt. You're basically forced by this inexplicable choice into wearing these exclusively as casual/lounge pants. I decided to review these pants because I see that this same stupid decision has been made with your new ""Dream Chino"", and I have to protest. Just put belt loops on the pants! 2) The pockets are made from a very ""industrial"" feeling plastic, which is very unpleasant to the touch -- feels like a shower curtain liner. Surely cotton, or even polyester, wouldn't be that much more expensive?"

Pretty good
"The pants are overall as pictured, I'm mostly happy. The pockets I find really cheap and unpleasant to have my hands in, which naturally happens quite a bit. And there's something about the fabric which is unsatisfying that I can't put my finger on (sorry, not a professional haha). But overall still good"

He wants to wear them every day
"Bought these for my husband and have to gently remind him to rotate his wardrobe because he wants to wear them daily. The elastic waist is totally hidden but very comfortable, they don't wrinkle easily at all, and they are warm for an overly air conditioned office but not hot outside. Hope that you keep making them and make other colors as well!"

Fit was misrepresented and produced was wrinkled.
"The pants I ordered were photographed to appear as a straight/barely slim fit on the website. However they are a skinny fit. Worse than that, they arrived all balled up with a ton of wrinkles so I can’t even wear them. Why would you buy wool pants only to have to dry clean them upon arrival. Anyone who owns wool pants knows that you only dry clean when necessary to avoid damaging the fabric and finish and to not waste time and money on dry cleaning."

New favourite pants!
"If there was an option for a belt this would be a five star review. There is a draw cord which is nice but I would like belt loops for a belt now and again. They are well made and incredibly comfortable! Thanks Everlane, they are my, now, favourite pants."

Formal Sweatpants for an unknown occasion
"TL:DR Not my type of swag, and I can’t imagine who or what the pants are made for I don’t know what setting these pants were created for but it’s certainly not the office or any public space where you want to impress anyone. These pants are comfortable, but the elastic waist band and lack of belt loops make it inappropriate for an office setting and far too schlubby to wear to any social gathering or event that is around people who don’t love you dearly. Maybe nice for a run to the grocery store, but then you’d be overdressed. Definitely a thick wool so not suitable for warmer climates or offices. Maybe if you are wearing an over shirt or jacket that you will not take off these pants may work for a public function. The legs are a bit long for my liking especially for a 31 waist however I am not a tall man."
