Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"These are by far my favorite jeans, I have both the black ink and indigo colors and I would honestly own one in every color if they had my size in the others. Super comfy, very flattering cut that cinches the waist and looks great on your butt. For reference I am 150lbs, 5'7" and I am typically a size 28 but the size 27 fit me best in these."

They fit perfect before I left, but …. you know, pasta and bread and wine, and desserts cussed me to put on pounds. I have not worn them yet as they were extremely tight in the belly area, but fit perfectly elsewhere. I waited too long to return them."
"I'm a bit curvier, and the fit on these is pretty tight through the groin and hips. Fits wonderfully through the thighs, but in general I find it hard to bend in a size I would be comfortable in with a brand like MadeWell for example. Would recommend sizing up. Otherwise, I love the look, love the feel. It's a flexible, soft denim that moves well. Would order again"
"I thought by the description these would be very soft and lightweight. They are more like a heavy denim Levi type of denim, no stretch and heavy. Reviews said they ran large and so I ordered my normal size, and they were tight. Unfortunately since they were discounted, they are not returnable so I’ll be taking them to a consignment shop for resale. This is my first purchase from Everlane."

"The fit is a bit tighter than I expected and I had ordered a size 28. I was thinking about going one size up but the reviews and recommended sizing was to go down one for a more fitted feel. I think the type of material is a true and stiffer denim so definitely making note of that when ordering this specific style the next time. I did purchase it while it was on sale and hope that I can lose a few pounds before I can wear these adorable jeans!! I do love them (color and style wise) but will also be getting them hemmed as they’re super long on me. If a shorter version is made for this specific style I’d def stock up!"
"These run small, consider sizing up 1-2 sizes. The color is beautiful, and these jeans look great overall. Just disappointing because I bought another pair a few weeks ago in the same size and they were too big. These ones are too snug. So inconsistent in sizing for pants."
