That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"These are such a flattering fit! And a cute color in the salt lake coloring. The black ones on the other hand in the same size are super baggy in the leg area and kinda fit weird. So different colors may fit differently."

"These fit great and have just the right amount if stretch and high waist to hold me in. The length is perfect for the short without being too short or too long and prevents walking chafe. That being said, the folded and raw/unfinished hem is awful -- it looks sloppy and moves around and folds in awkward places so I always have to mess with it. I may pay to have the hems finished properly. It is a shame that they didn't finish the shorts. No one really wants this style as the only option and it feels like the company is just being cheap and not finishing their garments. That being said l prefer these shorts for their fit over other shorts. I also like their utility short which is properly finished and they look more elegant as a result."
