Poor construction, poor material

Great Sweater

Overall not worth the price tag

"I was really excited to buy this sweater. It was my first ever purchase from Everlane. I love that they use good quality materials like 100 percent cotton. However, I was very disappointed with everything, especially the sweater. I ordered the black one, it is true to size. When I unpackaged it, there was already things stuck to it, which was a terrible sign. It collects so much of everything. I’ve never seen this with cotton before. It always looks dirty from the second I put it on and wore it for 15 minutes. The make of the sweater is terrible. Walmart makes things better. The sleeves close to the wrists have some different detailing pattern on them so it feels stretched out and floppy at the end of the sleeves. The pockets on the sweater look as if someone has worn it and had things in it and it’s stretched out from the second I put it on. The buttons and the button holes do not line up so the sweater looks messy and weird and the bottom on each side of the sweater are not aligned. The overall boxy style of the sweater is nice, but the quality of it is very terrible. As for shipping, also terrible. I do recommend getting the warranty add on they offer at check out. I had no idea where my package was, the tracking system is horrible. It took like a 3 weeks to month to get here and it just appeared with no information on the tracking webpage. For the price of this sweater, I would not recommend you buy it. It’s not worth spending your hard errand money on. Like I said, I really wanted to love this sweater but for the price, it’s honestly not worth it."

Awesome sweater

"This sweater can be dressed up or down, worn open or closed. I love it. I’m typically a size small, which is what I bought. I washed it once on the gentle cycle and it did shrink a bit FYI, but it fits even better now."

Poor construction

"I really loved the cut and fit of this sweater. Unfortunately, the first sweater I ordered arrived with black stains. It was replaced very quickly, but that sweater arrived with pulls and a hole was already forming on the seam of the pocket. I really wanted this to work, but it was clear that this would pull and holes would develop very quickly on the seams."
