Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. "Looks great, but it loosened after washing (like a whole size looser). I don’t put my jeans in the dryer, so maybe I will try that. Hope it shrinks. I wish it was 100% cotton though and that it came in 26” or less inseam for the petite ladies (I’m 5’4” ). It would also be helpful to put actual garment measurements instead of body measurements. I just never know with Everlane. I am usually a 29, but sized down to 28 here. Now that the jeans loosened after washing, I wish I just got a 27."

"These are great jeans. I’d prefer about another inch in length, but they’re flattering, comfortable, cute with the kick flare, and hold you in in all the right ways. I’d love to get the same jeans in multiple lengths and leg shapes, but can’t figure out what the equivalent versions would be. They do stretch, but I’m hoping they’ll shrink back in the wash. Overall, great."
