Sustainability
Conventional denim production is dirty business and we’re on a mission to clean it up. Here's how we're doing it differently—and why that matters for you.
Better denim starts with better materials. We prioritize certified organic and regenerative cotton — a tiny share of the world's supply — grown with less water and healthier soil practices. That same intention carries through to production: state-of-the-art factories that recycle up to 98% of their water, using ozone washing, air drying, and renewable energy to reduce water and energy use by design.
We work with mills and wash houses that have verifiably reduced chemical use, moving away from harmful treatments common in conventional denim. Our partners are independently tested against leading safer chemistry standards like bluesign, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and ZDHC — not self-reported claims. Fewer chemicals in your jeans, safer conditions for the people who make them, and lower environmental impact.
We don't guess at environmental impact — we verify it. Using Jeanologia's EIM, the industry benchmark standard for environmental denim wash impact, 96% of our washes score low to medium — meaning significantly less water, energy, and chemicals than conventional denim.
Our denim fabric is rigorously third-party tested multiple times from development through pre-production — verifying durability, consistency, and performance across fabric weight, tear strength, and color fastness. The result: denim built to get better with age, with more years in your wardrobe and fewer replacements.

"Súper cómodo, tal como me lo imaginé."
1st Time Disappointed
"I have become a big fan of Everlane Jeans and Slacks. However, I was disappointed with the color and look of the 'way-high curve Jean. The color was more of a berry shade rather than chocolate brown. The gold stitching was a stark contrast and made the Jean look cheap. . . not a fan."
Ok but not my fave
"Been searching for a replacement for the summer barrel jean (my absolute favorite jean in history) and these are decidedly not it. They are alright tho. Just, not was relaxed, don’t look as good, not as fun to wear"
Quite disappointed with these jeans!
"I’m quite disappointed with these jeans. After just a couple of wears, the fabric started to lose its shape and the quality doesn’t feel durable. Additionally the hems at the bottom of the jeans are uneven look uneven and slightly misshapen. They don’t fall properly—one leg appears slightly different from the other, which makes them look poorly finished and weird when worn. (would add a picture but the system does not allow it) Considering the price, I expected much better. . . . ."
Feels cheap
"The stretch material used for these pants makes them look and feel cheap. I'm disappointed I missed the return window on these while traveling. Definitely the most disappointed I've been with an Everlane product. I will try to resell them."
Wish I bought a size larger.
"A bit disappointed- sales person thought I should/could go down a size due to probable give in the wearing, but this pant hasn’t budged whatsoever and still feels tight - less comfortable than I expected. Apprehensive to wash or clean! The look is great however."
Good jeans
"I ordered 2 pairs with 27 inseam, but only blue ones arrived as planned, the black ones was I think 29 or 30 inseam. So as I am 5’2 the black ones is too long but still I keeping them for different styling. Overall nice cut!"
super flattering for curvy / hourglass figure
"I usually have to buy curve jeans but these are so flattering and do not gap in the waist and nor are they too tight in the thigh. I am 5'1 and ordered the longer inseam because I wanted them to be a little longer on me than how it showed on the model and they sit nicely on top of my shoes."
Love the color and fit
"I normally wear size 26 in Citizens of Humanity but sized up from 26 to 27. There’s stretch and fit perfectly in size 27 with 27” inseam. Love the ecru color and fit of these jeans"
