Love everything except color faded

"I love these pants. They are comfortable. They fit well. They look really nice…until I washed them. Then, the color faded in such a weird way that they now look marbled. I still wear them, even though they feel a little weird. I don’t know if it was user error or what. Also, do not dry them! The tag says not to, but I didn't catch that in time. They do shrink."

Nice but not as good as the pleated trouser in buttersmooth

"I like this pant but the texture and drape is not even close to how good my pleated trouser in buttersmooth is. This one is less soft and doesn't look at put together. Also, size down. I ordered my normal size and should have gone down one maybe 2 sizes. Unfortunately it was final sale so now I will need to get it tailored."

Love this material and style,

"Love this material and style, however I’ve noticed it does lose some of the color after washing, it still looks nice just not as polished and or structured. I’m 5’6” and 150lbs I have a straight figure and got the 8 but a 6 would’ve been a bit more fitted. The length is perfect drapes nicely with flats/tennis and still nice long enough for a 3” heel."

Got fuzzy

"Felt great in store and the fabric is quiet while walking. Didn't survive the first wash too well on cold and air dried, got a little fuzzy so the dark taupe color looks faded and not as woven anymore. Also feels like it shrunk ever so slightly."

great fit and fabric

"I love the fit and fabric of these pants. They are a perfect length for me, 5"3. Silhouette is perfect for work with a fitted top."

"Not much of a closing sale, b sorry to report."

Tencel developed white fade marks--ended up returning

"I bought the taupe color, and I really loved the way these look and fit on me, but sadly ended up returning them. after only two washes (following the instructions on the tag: gentle cycle, cold water, hang dry), they developed white lines running all down the pants. not stained or dust clinging to them. after looking it up online, this is apparently a characteristic of tencel clothing and is permanent fading. maybe my washing machine is too aggressive even on gentle, or it was overfilled when we washed the pants. this could probably have been avoided with hand washing or dry cleaning, which I wish I would have known before purchasing! good pants but make sure you know how to care for the fabric"

Size up if you're long waisted

"These are relatively short waisted compared to other similar pants I've purchased from Everlane. I'd say the quality is pretty good, but they're a bit uncomfortable given how short the crotch is. I ordered my usual size 4, but would recommend to size up, if you're long waisted like me."

Margot P. (3/5)

Too short then shrunk

"Pretty bummed by these trousers. I had a lot of hope after being made aware of Everlane because of their longer inseam pants. These arrived and were not the full 32 inch inseam. I’m handy with a seam ripper and sewing machine, so I let out the hem and got the length I was hoping for in the first place. Unfortunately, after one wash on cold and low heat in the dryer, they shrunk shorter than they were when I originally got them. The 32 inch inseam is misleading if you’re really hoping for a pair of pants that work with your long legs. They were also a bit oversized in the waist."

Meg M. (1/5)

Too big

"Nice pants but don’t follow the size guide just get your average size. I followed the guide and bought a size 6 and it was at least one size too big"
